National Center of Ophthalmology held a free eye screening for employees of ANAS

Mobil clinic of the National Center for Ophthalmology after academician Zarifa Aliyeva held an eye screening of the staff of ANAS Institute of Information Technology.

According to the employee of the Excimer-Laser Department of the National Center for Ophthalmology, Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine, Ophthalmologist, Surgeon Aygun Safarova, the main goal of this action is to identify eye pathologies of the Academy staff without detaching them from the work process, as well as monitoring.

Noting that, mobil clinic has wide technical capabilities for conducting eye examinations, A.Safarova brought to attention that, as a result of the examinations, basically, such pathologies as dry eye and spasm of the eye vessels were revealed. She said that, these pathologies are typical for people who have close contact with the computer.

The action is planned to be held in other institutes of ANAS.

It should be noted that, the National Center for Ophthalmology conducts educational work among the population in Baku and the regions of the country, and also conducts actions examining and treating ophthalmic patients.
