On March 5, an event was held at the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Z.M. Bunyadov of ANAS on the occasion of March 8 - International Women's Day.

The event was attended by the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute of Oriental Studies, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor Ruhangiz Jumshudlu, Deputy Chairman of the Free Trade Union of ANAS Shahla Amirova, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor Subhan Talibly, Head of the South Azerbaijan Department of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor Samad Bayramzade.

The chairman of the Trade Union of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor Subhan Talibly, made a speech and said that women have an irreplaceable role in society, congratulated the female orientalists on the occasion of International Women's Day, and wished them happiness in the family and constant activity in scientific work.

The head of the South Azerbaijan Department of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor Samad Bayramzadeh, said that female scientists have a great service and role in the development of Oriental studies, congratulated the female employees of the Institute on the occasion of the holiday, and wished them new successes in their future lives and activities.

At the end of the event, the female employees were presented with gifts from the Trade Union of the Institute.
